This is a 104 cm wooden cosplay katana inspired by Yubashiri, one of Roronoa Zoro's early swords in One Piece. It comes with its scabbard and is meant for display, costume and photo shoots, with a blunt edge.
What comes in the box?
- 1 katana
- 1 scabbard
What is it made of?
Cosplay-grade wood with composite parts. The photos show a black wrapped handle, a brass-tone square guard with cut-outs, and a silver blade with a black wave pattern along its back.
This version keeps the scabbard plain: glossy black with brass-tone caps at the mouth and tip, and no middle band. If you want the version with a gold band and cord fitting on the sheath, we list that separately.
Where is it from?
Zoro walked out of a sword shop in Loguetown with Yubashiri and Sandai Kitetsu, just before the Straw Hats entered the Grand Line. It served him until the Enies Lobby arc, where it was destroyed.
How do I display it?
Rest it horizontally on a two-slot stand with the scabbard below, or hang it on the wall with the handle to your left. It sits well next to a Wado Ichimonji for an early-series Zoro set.
