This 104 cm wooden katana is inspired by Yamato, the sword Vergil carries in the Devil May Cry games. It has a bamboo blade and is made for display and cosplay.
Where is it from?
Yamato belonged to the demon knight Sparda and passed to his son Vergil, while his twin Dante took the sword Rebellion. Yamato is said to cut through the barrier between the human and demon worlds, and Vergil's quick-draw style with it is a fan favourite.
What does it look like?
The photos show a white handle wrap over black diamonds with a gold cap, and an ornate gold guard with a dark purple centre. The blade has a dark purple band with flame-like marks running into a silver edge. The black sheath has gold ends and a navy blue cord.
What is it made of?
A bamboo blade and plastic handle, 104 cm end to end. No lights or batteries.
How do I display it?
A horizontal stand with the handle to the left keeps the guard detail in view. Hang the navy cord loose below the sheath for the look Vergil fans know.
