This 104 cm wooden katana is inspired by the slim Nichirin sword of Shinobu Kocho, the Insect Hashira in Demon Slayer. It has a bamboo blade and is made for display shelves and cosplay.
Where is it from?
Shinobu is not strong enough to cut off a demon's head, so her sword works differently. Most of the blade is cut away, leaving a narrow body and a hooked point made for thrusts that deliver wisteria poison. That odd tip is what makes her sword instantly recognisable.
What does it look like?
The photos show an orange-and-yellow guard shaped like butterfly wings, a white handle wrap over orange diamonds with an orange cap, and a black blade with a pale hooked tip. A white kanji panel sits near the guard. The black sheath carries a thin gold vine pattern.
What is it made of?
- Blade: bamboo
- Handle: plastic
- Length: 104 cm
Who is it for?
Shinobu cosplayers, Demon Slayer collectors lining up the Hashira swords, and anyone who wants a katana that does not look like every other katana on the shelf.
