This 104 cm wooden katana recreates the eye-covered blade of Kokushibo, Upper Moon One in Demon Slayer. It has a bamboo blade and plastic handle, and is made for display and cosplay.
Where is it from?
Kokushibo was once Michikatsu Tsugikuni, a demon slayer and the twin brother of Yoriichi. As a demon, his sword grows from his own flesh, covered in eyes, and sprouts extra curved blades mid-fight. It is one of the most unsettling designs in the series.
What makes this one different?
- Pink blade printed with yellow and red eyes and dark vein lines
- Three curved branches off the main blade, which slot in on pegs as the close-up shows
- Purple guard with gold collars
- Black handle wrap over eye-print panels, gold pommel cap
- Pink sheath with the same eyes and veins, gold ends
How do I display it?
The branches need room. Hang it on a wall mount with space above and below, or keep them off and store the plain blade in its sheath.
How do I care for it?
Fit and remove the branches gently at the pegs. Dust with a dry cloth and keep it indoors.
