A 104 cm painted wood katana inspired by Giyu Tomioka's Nichirin blade in Demon Slayer. It is a display and cosplay prop, made to look right on a shelf or in a costume, not to be swung at anything.
Where is it from?
Giyu is the Water Hashira and the first Hashira Tanjiro ever meets, the man who chose to spare Nezuko. Swords of Water Breathing users turn blue, which is why this blade carries that bright blue stripe.
What does it look like up close?
- Dark blade with a blue line running just above a silver-grey edge
- Hexagonal guard in pink with a yellow centre
- White handle wrap over blue diamond panels, capped in pink
- Glossy black sheath with yellow fittings at both ends
Who is it for?
Fans building a Hashira corner, cosplayers who need Giyu's sword for a con, and anyone looking for a gift a Demon Slayer fan will recognise at a glance. Compare it with our mustard-guard Giyu if you prefer a plain silver blade.
How do I care for it?
Painted wood dislikes damp. Keep it indoors, out of harsh sun, and wipe it with a dry soft cloth. Sheathe it when it is not on show so the paint stays clean.
